THE BEAUTY OF WAXED CANVAS

Waxed canvas is beautifully unique and imperfect! It’s a strong, hard-wearing material that is resistant to water and tearing. Although it’s waxed, it’s not sticky or damp to the touch. Bags made from this canvas will become more pliable and will develop a natural patina that mimics the appearance of full-grain leather with unique marks and scratches. With continued use these marks will only add to the beauty of the bag, making it truly one of a kind.

CARING FOR YOUR WAXED CANVAS:

• Do not machine wash or dry clean your waxed canvas product. Simply wipe clean with a clean damp cloth.

• If you prefer you can remove the marks and scratches, simply hover over the canvas with a hair dryer being careful not to hover too close or too long over one area.

• Extreme heat will break down the wax coating.
